Toffee Apple Tummies

I am currently pregnant with my 3rd baby and can’t believe the products  that are available now.  My eldest is 6 and I clearly remember trying to cover my tummy and exploding breasts while feeding and trying (with one hand) to strategically place a muslin wrap over my shoulder to feed in public, some mums do this ever so gracefully but I was not one of them, more often than not patrons at cafes and parks ended up with an accidental eyeful of my ample bosom!   Not so these days, there are so many gorgeous feeding options on the market, from tops, to scarves and everything in between ! The Breast Vest – What a wonder ! Well priced and pretty much eliminates the need for nursing tops as you can just pull up your tee without exposing you post baby belly button to the world..

The Maternal America feeding scarf – Fantastic scarf (yes it actually is a funky scarf too) with a hole for your head just pull it on and off you go! No balancing wraps/blankies on your shoulder anymore, and when your done, pop it back on as a fab accessory !

The Maternal American Nursing Top – This is really pretty and not at all tight, which for me post bub is a big plus, when not feeding it just looks like a super pretty top.

Grandparents they come in all sorts of packages the good, the bad and the interfering.  There are the ones that care too much and are involved in every single second or your child’s life, the ones that don’t really care enough, the ones that live close, ones that live far away and ones that you wish lived far away.   Whatever grandparents your kids have I hope that they know that they are very lucky, both the kids and the grandparents…

I am very fortunate to have the most lovely in-laws who are very involved in their grandchildren without being over bearing the kids love spending time with them and it is never too much effort for them to see the kids, they have a great relationship.. My parents also have a special relationship with the kids, my mum loves taking them to the museum or as it is called in our house the nu-seen-um, and my Dad though around 1000km away has the most fabulous time during visits and the most hilarious phone conversations I have ever heard.
